Happy 4th of July!

We will be up at my Aunt and Uncles cottage for the next couple of days enjoying the festivities and the company. If you need to get a hold of us please call and leave a message because we just might not have our phones next to us at all times. Have a fun and safe 4th of July and make sure you do your best to remember why this day is to be. Salute your nearest military serving lady or gentleman, because they're another great reason why we are celebrating one more 4th of July and will hopefully celebrate many more to come!

June 28th

Yesterday we went to the N.E.W. Zoo and we had a lot of fun. Quinten was bored. He is a tad too young to enjoy all of the animals, but the weather couldn't have been any better and the walking Rochelle and I did was great. There were monkeys, moose, billy goats, birds, and even an albino alligator. We met up with Rochelle's old co-worker Andrea, her son Ben and her Mom, Dad and brother and had a blast. Plus we got a lot of great film of the zoo and we can't wait till we go back, but probably won't go back till Q is a little bit older.

We are getting a little bit closer to our new place, and the packing is getting harder at the moment. We don't move for a couple more weeks and a lot of things are hard to pack up because we might need to use it. However we can't wait. Because once we're there, life will be a lot more easier for all of us. Plus Q will be able to run around outside yet this summer. However he's got to get walking before he starts running!

He's following behind one of the walkers that we've got, and he likes to walk with it, but as soon as he steps from behind - down he goes. He's taken a step here and there, but nothing too special. Another thing, he needs teeth! So there are two things he needs to accomplish, but in the mean time he is very clingy. He probably is that way cause we've been spoiling him a bit too much. But he's so darn cute! It's hard to say no and easy to make him happy.

Wow. Today was hot. At 10:30 this morning the temperature was already 79°F! Rochelle had to work, and I stayed home with the Q Man. He and I played and watched re-runs of "Deadliest Catch" on the Discovery Channel. What a job. Anyway; Q man is worn out and is currently sleeping for his third time today. He took a second nap, but really wasn't only down but for maybe 15 minutes. So I'm taking this time to work on the site. Tonight we're eating beer brats and corn on the cob for dinner and probably will do more packing. If anyone wants to help, just let us know. We probably won't say no.

We haven't sold Rochelle's car yet, but we aren't giving up this early. It is a tough market out there and we aren't selling it as a steal. If you know of anybody that is willing to make a deal, let us know. we are ready to negotiate a good price. If you want to take a look at it just click the link to the right.

Tomorrow is Father's day, and will be my first Father's day ever. I wish all the dad's out there a happy Father's day! Play ball with your kid(s) or take them for an ice cream cone! Tomorrow is going to be warm so the pool would be fun too. I'm not sure what I'll be doing, but I wish I had the money to go out and visit my dad, and it still just might happen - we'll see. He tends to like an advanced warning, but I just haven't made up my mind yet. I know that Rochelle had a good Mother's day. I, with the help of Quinten, drew up a Mother's day card and I helped Quinten write, "I Love you mom." It was a little sloppy since all he really wanted was to shove the giant Crayola crayons in his mouth. Well, he's actually waking up, so off to Dadtown I go.

The past few days Rochelle and I have been packing boxes and getting things organized because we are moving! We are moving to Oshkosh in Mid July (18th) and we can't wait. It is into a Townhouse with two floors and a full basement with a stall and a half garage. It's back yard is hole 8 Tee Off Box at the Westhaven Golf Course, so I might get some moonlight golf practice in. The best part is that it's only 3.9 miles from where I work at Oshkosh Corp. We know that we don't move till mid-July, but we'd rather have stuff together so it isn't so last minute. Plus I'd like to make it a tad bit easier for those who are helping us. And boy do we have a lot of stuff. I have no idea where we put it all since we're only in an apartment currently. I've also been working on our website and it's actually looking pretty good. I've made a lot of revisions to this, but I feel that this might be a very good stepping stone and won't need to change this much. Well I'll stay in touch and I'll keep updating the site. Very soon I'll be putting pictures together and placing them on the site as well. Have a good one.

Today Rochelle had to work most of the day, and I sat at home with our 8 1/2 month old son Quinten. He's such a cutie! Tomorrow we're visiting Rochelle's parents for Easter. Quinten has a little outfit to wear and he'll be getting his first Easter basket! Maybe next year he'll get to do his first Easter egg hunt! That'll be awesome. I can't wait to eat the candy he finds!
